Some history about Bible Class...

In 1918 Pastor Pott started a Bible Class, which met one half hour before the Sunday Worship Service.  This Bible class was for all members of the congregation and involved studying parts of the Bible and learning the new English hymnal.  Adult Bible Classes were also taught by Pastor Deye (1951-1956), Pastor Meier (1957-1961), Mr. Dick Heimsoth (1965-1973), and Mr. Edwin Knoernschild (1973-1980).  In 1959 a Sunday morning Bible class was started for young people who were confirmed, and this class continued until 1982 when it joined Adult Bible Class.  The present Bible Class is for all communicant members of the congregation, and since 1982 the class has studied the Gospel according to Matthew, Luke, John, the Book of Revelation, the history of worship from Genesis to the present, and an overview of each book in the Bible.
